Polyphonic Recap.

First off CONGRATULATIONS NINA SWIDERSKI! Winner of the Polyphonic Spree poster contest! You got the votes, and Tim De Laughter from the Spree dug your design quite a bit. Thanks to all the others who participated, you should all have signed posters, Meagan Phillips can get you yours if you haven’t received it already.

Just thought I’d post a few pictures people took of the night, so sorry I couldn’t join y’all, but I caught them when they played the El Rey down here in LA.

Enjoy!

TONIGHT! BEN KWELLER / SAN FRANPSCHO benefit for Surf For LIfe

Just a heads up, there’s a great benefit show happening tonight Friday August 2nd. Ben Kweller and other talented artists have partnered with San Franpsycho to raise funds for Surf For Life.

More info:
San Franpsycho and Surf for Life are teaming up with local musicians and small businesses to raise money for educational resources in Central America. The Independent and Another Planet Ent are putting all ticket sales for the night towards our fundraising goals. Tickets available here http://www.theindependentsf.com/event/320767-ben-kweller-benefit-concert-san-francisco/

All ticket holders are invited to our exclusive pre party at the San Franpsycho store located a block away from the Independent. Music from grammy nominated Ben Kweller, as well as local artists Mahgeetah, and Bonnie and the Bang Bang all rocking the night away.

Be sure to get your tickets soon and plan on making a full night of it starting out at the store with small bites from Little Chihuahua, ice cold Peroni beers, free event tee shirts for the first 100 people, and raffles from local companies such as Indo Sole and Big Dog Surf Camp. We are also planning on some acoustic sets from San Franpsycho employees!
